Jackson Browne in Town

Rhonda and I took in Jackson Browne at the Alabama Theater in Bham last night.  It's an intimate venue and it was clear that Jackson enjoyed the crowd's constant requests!  The highlight of the night was an impromtu performance of "Where Were You" from his latest album, "Time the Conqueror".  The night was filled with political commentary, reviews of domestic and foreign policy and an all out passionate performance.  I'll probably always prefer the solo acoustic performances but the band was tight, the vocals dead on and the fogoten lyrics were as funny as ever.
